The energy from David & Mercy at the Braxted Park Estate was immaculate-from the couple to the bridal team, to their families and to their guests made this union one to remember.
Mercy’s parents were in for a treat as David had planned surprise gifts for them in the morning which was a very thoughtful gesture from the groom. After this, we began with the getting ready shots in the bridal suite. The bridal team's support for the couple was just incredible. Everyone was buzzing with excitement for them and you could feel the love they had for the couple in each image from the prep.
The ceremony began with the groom making his walk in entrance with his best man, followed by the bridal team. As the bride entered with her father, she could hardly hold her tears and had to let it all out. This continued as the couple professed their love for each other through beautifully written vows, which got them both in uncontrollable tears. Everyone in the room could feel their story and how much they mean to each other. An absolute blessing to witness this moment. Moments like these remind me of why I love what I do.
After the ceremony, the rain had cleared but the dark was creeping slowly. We had a very short time with natural light outside so we had to make the most of it. In addition to this, it was freezing cold but David and Mercy were fantastic and patient. They coorporated with us to achieve the images they dreamed about on their wedding day at the Braxted park. It was more fun than I expected considering the cold.
The couple went inside for a beautiful reception decor room reveal and some alone time on the dance floor before the guests were allowed entry. There was live band in action, beautiful music and the vibes on the day was such an amazing experience. I am buzzing to go back to Braxted park estate so if you’re looking to celebrate your wedding here, get in touch and let’s start planning.
