Wendy & Prince planned an intimate wedding day with a guest count of 50 head. The day started with the groom prep with his boys. The morning was well organised to give me ample time with both couple to get the most out of the prep in regards to photography. I find it particularly helpful when extra time is provided as a contingency. I always tell my couples, while you can have things planned to a T on your wedding day, a small delay can cause a ripple effect on the remaining order of the day.
I picked the perfect spot inside the hotel for the couple first look pictures. The getting ready hotel was within 2 minute drive of the ceremony which was incredibly convenient with extra time. Intimate ceremonies like this are great for couples because they get to have some more quality time with their guests.
The bride had picked a location for the couple photoshoot which was a 15 minute drive from the reception. However, it started to drizzle so I had to make a judgement call to utilise the hotel grounds for these pictures as time and daylight was not on our side. The venue came through for us, with a cozy garden, a backdrop of some greenery and the building in sight, along with a water fountain.
The evening was filled with a joyful presence as the quests enjoyed a beautiful palette of roast dinner and later served with traditional Ghanaian cuisine.
